India is a wonder

This is written by a friend of mine with a very few inputs of mine


The wonder that india is!!!!!!!
India is the land of rich heritage, culture,morales. We stand true to the saying “ thou shall receive what thou seeks”. We have traversed all the areas. From history to geography we have nature’s bounty at its best. We are a nation by the people for the people and of the people. We form the basis of various surveys conducted all over the world for the behavioural expressions in our nation. We epitomize the development of talent amid the not so very friendly situations be it the corruption in the system or the lag of the technology in comparison to the developed nations.
Deeper analysis lead us to deep contemplation of the situation that is worsening day in and day out. we are improving but the game is being played such that we stand the chance of falling prey to the shrewd policies of the west and also tackling the immediate and next door bolus of terror from Pakistan as well as china. The friendship of china had always been a matter of deceit starting with the Nehru rule wherein the border line was redrawn as per the Chinese interests keeping Nehru in dark, resulting in a war which we had very well lost. Now we see imminent threat from the Chinese in the form of building dams in Tibet border to building bunkers. we see extreme reactions from the Chinese officials when we ban the toys manufactured in china , having lead contents eventually proving to be detrimental to the health of the children. The market prospects of “INDIA” is so vast that the nations investing in our land are getting returns manifold. Every single day we tackle threats from all sides. To the north china, to the west Pakistan, to the east Bangladesh and to the south srilanka. We have garnered so much talent and tolerance that every dawn we are prepared to face the worst also hoping for the best.

Population is a boom as well as a curse . Boom taking in to consideration the business prospects and the talent pool being bought up by the educated middle class parents. Curse is the lack of the efficiency of the government to handle the Below poverty level people. We face natural crisis in terms of 3 years of deluge followed by drought and still see states like Bihar showing a GDP of 11% the second highest to Gujarat. What takes the front seat is not the struggle we are in to , what matters to the masses is the hope and the urge to do better everyday, every single day passing wherein darwins theory of “survival of the fittest” comes alive.

The nation which has such a huge population is in itself a wonder. What passes our minds is the utter surprise of how is people management in india. The nation rocks in all manners. Be it standing together in times of crisis or facing the shame of a girl being molested in school and the Keepers of law forcing her to commit suicide and the issue coming in lime light after years of the child passing away. What we witness in our nation is so very unique to our nation.


India faced the recession in the best manner to come out as the economy of awe for the rest of the world. Statistically speaking india had been untouched by the recession that had hit the world , which had been the worst ever witnessed by the world. We proved that “Adversity can make men to break and also it can cause some to break record”. We fall in the later category wherein we broke all records in terms of stability. We saw recruitments in the various nationalized banks at a large scale when recession was at peak. Also we witnessed the IT giants posting a stability in their income though there had been marginal profits posted. We could very well come out unscathed by the barbed wires of recession.

We faced major terror strikes. What the strikes could not hamper was the spirit with which we united as a nation and also the calmness and serenity maintained by the masses . we as a nation shouldered the onus of security of nation as well as believed in the system to monitor and tackle the situation. We saw great martyrs like unnikrishnan, kharkare and the rest sacrificing their lives for the betterment of the nation and safeguarding the people. We still have the blend of patriotism in us which had come to life starting by the revolt of 1857 taking us long 100 years to achieve our independence.

We respect all religions equally, rather giving an edge for the economically and socially backward religious tribes. We witness infiltration from Bangladesh as well as Pakistan. But that has not made us take refugee in scrapping all means of contacts like the road and the rail with these nations.We have reservations in our system to help the weak grow. We are also mired in corruption but the spirit and the sincerity displayed by the common man proves to be the catalyst for the ongoing success inspite of the setbacks received. We as a nation is an idol of tolerance.
India is mired in all kinds of filth but what we also know is that lot many lotuses blossom in this filth. Truly what a wonder india is!!!!!!!!!
